In mid-September, Willem's parents went to AWKD for his parent/kid/teacher initiation, or what other schools might call a "conference." His teacher said, "Willem, while I talk to your Mom and Dad, there's a coloring book on your desk with a picture of a bear on it. You can go and color in that."

Willem replied, "I'm not very good at coloring. Maybe if I meditate for a while, I'll be able to see in my mind what a bear looks like and I can do a better job."

Willem proceeded to his desk and sat for a good two minutes with his eyes closed before starting to color! The teacher was astonished and said, "That was a wonderful plan, Willem. Maybe you can teach that to the whole class!"
